VINFAST PRESENTING A SPECIAL VERSION OF ITS LUX SUV IN SWITZERLAND
Tue, 03/05/2019 - 03:29
At the Geneva Motor Show 2019 (Switzerland), VinFast introduced the first special version of its Lux SUV. Equipped with a powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine and outstanding interior and exterior upgrades, the newly launched VinFast Lux V8 has quickly attracted the attention of international experts and media.
VinFast Lux V8 was developed from the Lux SA2.0 SUV but surpasses the original edition in terms of both appearance and specifications. The most prominent detail of the special VinFast Lux V8 is a powerful V8 engine. With 8 V-shaped cylinders, the maximum capacity of up to 455 horsepower, and the maximum torque of 624 Nm, VinFast Lux V8 reaches a maximum speed of over 300km/h.
In terms of design, the exhibited VinFast Lux V8 has luxurious black paint in harmony with carbon-coated silver details, creating a classy and powerful appearance for drivers. There is also a large 22-inch sports tire set; the premium-aluminum mesh for the grille; and high-quality carbon coated splint lines on both sides of the body, in the roof and bonnet. Together with the wheel rims, they create a sporty but elegant impression for the entire "supercar”.
The marriage of premium suede from Ultrasuede and carbon fiber compound upgrades the interior material of the VinFast Lux V8 to a whole new level compared to the VinFast Lux SA2.0. All the leather interiors in the car were hand-crafted by world-leading artisans.
To emphasize the elegance and originality of the VinFast Lux V8, the back row of this special edition has been carefully calibrated to provide maximum comfort for the occupants.
“The VinFast Lux V8 is the perfect combination between the experience of driving a racing car and superior classy luxury of a deluxe automobile. Owners can relax in the back seat or satisfy his/her driving passion behind the wheel,” said Mr. David Lyon - Design Director of VinFast.
The uniqueness of VinFast Lux V8 not only brings out the great experience and excitement when driving but also inspires Magna - VinFast's partner. Together with VinFast, Magna engineers have put a lot of effort and enthusiasm into producing the most perfect special edition. That was the reason why, Magna - the world's No. 1 automotive designer, a partner of leading car manufacturers like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Audi, etc. - decided to have VinFast Lux V8 exhibited to the public at its booth at the Geneva Motor Show 2019 in a solemn manner.
Once again making an impressive appearance at one of the most important exhibitions in the global automobile industry and being the highlight of Magna Steyr’s booth have shown VinFast's aspiration to conquer the international level.
It is expected that VinFast Lux V8 will be produced and sold in limited quantities in 2020.
